Homemade Pizza Pockets

Biscuit dough filled with marinara, mozzarella, and pepperoni, then baked.

Servings: 4 pockets

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 0.5 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 24 slices mini pepperoni
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Flatten each biscuit into a circle and place marinara, mozzarella, and pepperoni in the center.
  3. Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges firmly to seal.
  4. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  5. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes until golden and let cool before packing.

Notes

Pack a little extra marinara in a small container for dipping.
