  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 tablespoons cold unsalted butter cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2-3 tablespoons cold water

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Add the cold, cubed butter and pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and pulse until combined.
  5. Gradually add the cold water, one tablespoon at a time, and pulse until the dough comes together.
  6. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll it out to about 1/8 inch thick.
  7. Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut the dough into small squares or use a small cookie cutter for fun shapes.
  8. Place the dough pieces onto the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. Enjoy these tasty, cheesy crackers!
