Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 3 russet potatoes cut into 1/4-inch sticks
  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder

Method

  1. Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes, then drain and pat very dry.
  2. Toss the fries with olive oil, salt, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
  3. Air fry at 380F for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  4. Increase to 400F and cook another 8 to 10 minutes until deep golden and crisp.
  5. Season with a little more salt while hot and serve right away.

Notes

Soaking pulls out extra starch, which is what gives you that crispy exterior.
