Goat Cheese and Honey Cups

Goat cheese, honey, and black pepper are all excellent ingredients to bring together and create something that seems much more complex than it really is.
Prep Time 8 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Total Time 13 minutes
Servings: 15 cups

Ingredients

  • 15 mini phyllo cups pre-baked
  • 5 oz goat cheese softened
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts toasted
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves optional

Method

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Spoon or pipe goat cheese into each phyllo cup.
  3. Warm in the oven 4 to 5 minutes, just until the cheese softens.
  4. Drizzle with honey, scatter walnuts and thyme, and finish with cracked pepper.

Notes

Toast the walnuts in a dry pan for two minutes for way more flavor.
