Ginger Soy Chicken Marinade

Chicken that has been marinated in a delicious ginger soy sauce and then pan seared to perfection!

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

Method
 

  1. Whisk soy sauce, ginger, garlic, brown sugar, sesame oil, and rice vinegar in a bowl.
  2. Add the chicken and marinate at least 30 minutes (or overnight).
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high and sear the chicken 5-6 minutes per side until caramelized and cooked through.
  4. Let it rest a few minutes, then slice.
  5. Divide into containers with rice and steamed veggies.

Notes

Save a little marinade before adding raw chicken to brush on after cooking.
