Garlic Butter Shrimp

Plump shrimp are sautéed in a delicious garlic-butter sauce with a hint of lemon and fresh parsley.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 0.25 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Pat the shrimp dry and season with salt.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook 2 minutes per side until pink.
  5. Squeeze in the lemon juice and toss to coat.
  6. Sprinkle with parsley and serve right away.

Notes

Don't crowd the pan or the shrimp will steam instead of searing.
