Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2 medium pears peeled and diced
  • 1 large apple peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Zest of 1 orange

Method
 

  1. Combine cranberries, pears, apples, orange juice, and honey in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the cinnamon stick and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  3. Cook for 12-15 minutes until the cranberries pop and the fruit is tender but not mushy.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and orange zest.
  5. Remove the cinnamon stick and let cool to room temperature. Serve warm or chilled.
