French Onion Slow Cooker Dump Chicken

If you love French onion soup, you're going to absolutely adore this easy chicken dinner! Just toss everything into your slow cooker and let it work its magic while you go about your day. The result is tender, flavorful chicken with that classic caramelized onion taste we all crave.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 package 1 oz dry French onion soup mix
  • 1 can 10.5 oz condensed French onion soup
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter cut into pats

Method
 

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the dry French onion soup mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Pour the condensed French onion soup over the top, then place butter pats on top.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender and cooked through.
  5. About 10 minutes before serving, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, cover, and let melt. Serve over rice, noodles, or with crusty bread.
