Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions until al dente, then drain and lay flat on a clean kitchen towel to prevent sticking.
Preheat oven to 375°F and in a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 2 cups mozzarella, 1 cup fontina, 1 cup Parmesan, eggs, parsley, salt, pepper, and nutmeg, mixing until well blended.
In a separate bowl, stir together marinara sauce, tomato sauce, and minced garlic until combined.
Spread 1 cup of sauce mixture in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish, then layer with one-third of the noodles, one-third of the cheese mixture, and one-third of the remaining sauce.
Repeat layers two more times, ending with sauce on top.
Sprinkle the top with remaining 1 cup mozzarella, 1 cup fontina, and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
