Total Time 30 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions sliced

Method

  1. Toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch in a large bowl until evenly coated, shaking off any excess.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken in a single layer and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken to a plate.
  3. In the same skillet, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce clings to the chicken.
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving over rice.
