Double Chocolate Fudge Brownies

Brownies that are incredibly rich and fudgy. This recipe uses extra chocolate chips and cocoa powder for that double chocolate experience!

Servings: 16 brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs room temperature
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips divided
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and line an 8x8 pan with parchment.
  2. Whisk melted butter and sugar until glossy, then beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  4. Stir in half the chocolate chips, spread batter in the pan, and scatter the rest on top.
  5. Bake 28 to 30 minutes until the center is set but still soft. Cool before slicing.

Notes

Pull them a couple minutes early for that signature gooey center.
