Double Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Method

  1. Instructions: Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until cookies are set.
  2. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving enough space between each cookie.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is smooth.
  7. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely. Enjoy!
  9. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
