Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Delicious, crunchy, and crackly chicken wings with juicy meat promise zero greasy mess, and are ready for any and all sauces you are craving!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb chicken wings split into flats and drums
  • 1 tbsp baking powder aluminum-free
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Pat the wings completely dry with paper towels, then toss them in a bowl with the baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, not touching.
  3. Air fry at 250F for 12 minutes to render the fat.
  4. Bump the heat to 400F and cook another 12 to 14 minutes, flipping halfway, until deep golden and crispy.
  5. Let them rest 5 minutes, then toss in your favorite sauce or serve plain.

Notes

The two-temperature method is the secret to extra-crispy skin, so don't skip the low-heat start.
