Crescent Roll Christmas Wreath

This is the holiday appetizer that gets the most wow reactions and is secretly one of the easiest things you'll ever make. Green broccoli and red pimiento peppers make it look festive, and the cheesy filling tastes amazing. Set it on the table and watch people assume you've been cooking all day.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tubes crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup diced red pimiento peppers or red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg beaten

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a large round pizza pan or baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Arrange crescent triangles in a circle with points out and bases overlapping in the center, forming a ring.
  3. Mix cream cheese with ranch seasoning, broccoli, red pepper, and cheddar.
  4. Spoon filling evenly over the base ring of the dough.
  5. Fold each point over the filling and tuck under the base to form a wreath shape.
  6. Brush with beaten egg and bake 20 to 24 minutes until golden.
  7. Let cool slightly, then serve on the pan.
