Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 12 oz linguine
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1.25 cups heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan grated
  • 1 lemon juiced

Method
 

  1. Toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-high and cook the shrimp 2 minutes per side until pink, then remove.
  3. Cook the linguine in salted water until al dente and drain.
  4. Saute the garlic in the same pan for 30 seconds, then add the cream and simmer 3-4 minutes.
  5. Whisk in the Parmesan and lemon juice, then return the shrimp and pasta and toss together.

Notes

Don't overcook the shrimp; pull them the moment they curl and turn pink.
