Classic Italian Meatballs in Marinara Sauce

A slow cooker full of meatballs in marinara is the easiest party protein you can make. Set it and forget it, then set out toothpicks and let guests go to town. These also work great as a slider filling if you want to double up.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 jars 24 oz each marinara sauce

Method
 

  1. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, eggs, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a rimmed baking sheet.
  3. Bake at 400°F for 18 minutes until cooked through and browned.
  4. Transfer meatballs to a slow cooker and pour marinara sauce over them.
  5. Cook on low for 2 hours or warm until ready to serve.
  6. Set out with toothpicks for easy grabbing.
