Christmas Tree Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1.25 cups sugar
  • 0.75 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup green frosting
  • 0.25 cup assorted sprinkles

Method
 

  1. Stir the melted butter, sugar, and cocoa together until glossy.
  2. Beat in the eggs, then fold in the flour and a pinch of salt until just combined.
  3. Spread the batter in a lined 8-inch pan and bake at 350F for 22 to 25 minutes.
  4. Cool completely, then cut the slab into triangles to look like trees, adding a small trunk.
  5. Pipe green frosting over each tree and decorate with sprinkles like tiny ornaments.

Notes

Let the brownies cool fully before cutting or your trees will crumble at the edges.
