Chicken Parmesan Sliders

Soft slider buns are layered with savory canned chicken, marinara, and melted mozzarella, then baked until buttery and golden.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans canned chicken drained
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 12 slider buns kept connected
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Warm the drained chicken with the marinara sauce in a skillet.
  3. Slice the connected buns in half horizontally and place the bottom in a baking dish.
  4. Spoon the saucy chicken over the buns and top with mozzarella.
  5. Add the top buns, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese melts and the tops are golden.

Notes

Cover with foil for the first 10 minutes so the tops don't over-brown.
