Chicken Francese

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 2 lemons juiced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook chicken until golden, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  2. Cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 1-2 hours.
  3. Dip chicken in flour, then eggs.
  4. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
  5. Heat butter and oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. In the same skillet, add broth, wine, and lemon juice.
  7. Season flour with salt and pepper in a shallow dish.
  8. Simmer sauce for 2-3 minutes, then pour over chicken.
  9. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise.
  10. Transfer chicken to the slow cooker.
