Cheese Stuffed Jalapeños

Baked until golden, these jalapeño halves are filled with a cheesy, garlicky filling.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 jalapeños halved and seeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Mix the cream cheese, Monterey Jack, and garlic powder until combined.
  3. Spoon the filling into each jalapeño half.
  4. Toss the panko with melted butter and sprinkle over the tops.
  5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until the peppers are tender and the tops are golden.
  6. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Leave a few seeds in if you like extra heat.
