Ingredients
  

  • 24 pretzel rods
  • 12 oz white candy coating wafers
  • 3 oz red candy coating wafers

Method
 

  1. Melt the white coating according to its package, stirring often. Dip each rod about three-quarters of its length, let excess drip off and place on parchment.
  2. Melt red coating in a separate bowl. Transfer to a piping bag or drizzle with a spoon in thin diagonal stripes across the white coating.
  3. Refrigerate for about 20 minutes until firm.

Notes

Equipment: parchment-lined tray, microwave-safe bowls.
Serving size: 1 pretzel.
Store airtight in a cool, dry place for up to 1 week. Candy coating sets without tempering; do not add liquid food coloring.
