Beef and Broccoli Ramen Bowl

Thinly sliced beef and crunchy broccoli in a sweet and sticky sauce served over ramen.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb flank steak thinly sliced
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 12 oz ramen noodles
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Method
 

  1. Whisk the soy sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch together with a splash of water to make the sauce.
  2. Cook the ramen noodles, drain, and set aside.
  3. Sear the sliced beef in hot oil until browned, then remove from the pan.
  4. Stir-fry the broccoli and garlic until crisp-tender, then return the beef to the pan.
  5. Pour in the sauce and noodles and toss until everything is glossy and coated.

Notes

Slice the beef against the grain for the most tender bite.
