Balsamic Rosemary Grilled Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, chopped fresh rosemary, minced garlic, honey, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure each piece is well-coated.
  3. Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for best results.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place on the grill. Discard any remaining marinade.
  6. Grill the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and nicely charred. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
  7. Remove the chicken from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your savory Balsamic Rosemary Grilled Chicken!

Notes

You can also cook the chicken in a grill pan or bake it in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 20-25 minutes. For a complete meal, serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh garden salad. This marinade works well with other proteins like pork or tofu too!
