Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.33 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  2. Sear in olive oil over medium-high, 5-6 minutes per side, then remove.
  3. Add balsamic vinegar, honey, and garlic to the pan and simmer until syrupy, 3-4 minutes.
  4. Return the chicken and turn to coat in the glaze.
  5. Slice and portion, spooning extra glaze on top.

Notes

The glaze thickens as it cools, so don't over-reduce it in the pan.
