Baked Apples with Granola

Whole cored apples stuffed with granola and maple and baked until soft and fragrant.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 40 minutes
Servings: 4 apples

Ingredients
  

  • 4 apples cored
  • 3/4 cup granola
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp butter cubed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup apple cider

Method
 

  1. Heat oven to 375F and place the cored apples in a baking dish.
  2. Mix the granola, maple syrup, and cinnamon together.
  3. Pack the granola mixture into the center of each apple.
  4. Top each with a cube of butter and pour the cider into the dish.
  5. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until the apples are tender.
  6. Spoon the pan juices over the apples and serve warm.

Notes

Don't peel the apples, the skin holds them together as they bake.
