Ingredients

  • 6 jalapeños halved and seeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar

  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Mix the cream cheese, cheddar, and garlic powder until smooth.
  3. Fill each jalapeño half generously with the cheese mixture.
  4. Wrap each one with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  5. Bake for 22 to 25 minutes until the bacon is crisp and the cheese is bubbling.
  6. Let them cool for 5 minutes before serving so nobody burns their mouth.

Notes

Wear gloves while seeding the jalapeños unless you want spicy fingers for the rest of the day.
