Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers

Bacon-wrapped and baked jalapeños oozing creamy cheese filling and bubbling with goodness!

Servings: 12 poppers

Ingredients
  

  • 6 jalapeños halved and seeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 12 slices bacon cut in half

Method
 

  1. Heat oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Mix cream cheese, cheddar, and garlic powder until smooth.
  3. Spoon the filling into each jalapeño half.
  4. Wrap each stuffed half with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  5. Bake for 22 to 25 minutes until the bacon is crisp and the cheese is bubbling.
  6. Let cool a couple minutes before serving so nobody burns their mouth.

Notes

Wear gloves while seeding the jalapeños unless you enjoy regret.
