Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers

Bacon-wrapped jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese then baked until the cheese is melted and the bacon is crispy.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 jalapeños halved and seeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar
  • 10 slices bacon halved
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Mix cream cheese, cheddar, and garlic powder until smooth.
  3. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  4. Wrap each with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  5. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until bacon is crisp and peppers are tender.
  6. Let cool a few minutes so the filling sets before serving.

Notes

Wear gloves while seeding the jalapeños unless you enjoy spicy regret.
