Ingredients

  • 12 fresh jalapeños halved and seeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 12 slices bacon halved

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and set a wire rack on a foil-lined baking sheet.
  2. Mix the cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Spoon the filling into each jalapeño half and press to fill the cavity.
  4. Wrap each stuffed half with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  5. Arrange on the rack and bake for 22 to 25 minutes until the bacon is crisp.
  6. Let them rest 5 minutes so the filling sets before serving.
