Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers

Baked and bubbling, smoky cream cheese stuffed jalapeños and wrapped in crispy bacon.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 jalapeños halved and seeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • 12 slices bacon halved
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Mix cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl.
  3. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  4. Wrap each half with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  5. Arrange on the sheet and bake 22 to 25 minutes until bacon is crisp.
  6. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Wear gloves when seeding the jalapeños so you don't rub spicy hands on your eyes later.
