Servings: 24 pieces

Ingredients

  • 24 Medjool dates pitted
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 12 slices bacon halved
  • 24 toothpicks
  • 1 tbsp honey for drizzling

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Slice each date open along one side and tuck in a small spoonful of goat cheese, then pinch closed.
  3. Wrap each stuffed date with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  4. Arrange seam-side down on the baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, turning once, until the bacon is crisp and golden.
  6. Drizzle with honey and serve warm.

Notes

Let them cool for five minutes before serving so the cheese doesn't run.
