Bacon-Wrapped Brown Sugar Meatballs

Bacon-wrapped anything gets eaten first and these are absolutely no exception. The brown sugar caramelizes on the outside and you get this crispy, sweet, salty bite in one pop. These are easy to prep ahead and just need a quick blast in the oven before the party.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen fully cooked meatballs medium size
  • 1 lb thin-cut bacon
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with foil, then place a wire rack on top.
  2. Mix brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a shallow bowl.
  3. Cut each bacon strip in half and wrap one piece around each meatball, securing with a toothpick.
  4. Roll each bacon-wrapped meatball in the brown sugar mixture and place on the wire rack.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bacon is crispy and sugar is caramelized.
  6. Let cool for 2 minutes before serving — the toothpick is already in, ready to grab.
