Bacon Jalapeño Popper Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices bacon cooked crispy and crumbled
  • 4 fresh jalapeños seeded and finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a 9-inch baking dish or pie plate.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, half of the crumbled bacon, diced jalapeños, garlic, and salt. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. In a small bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs with melted butter and the remaining bacon crumbles, then sprinkle over the top of the dip.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the dip is hot and bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  5. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving with tortilla chips, crackers, or pretzel crisps.
