Ingredients

  • 1 bone-in ham 8 lb, fully cooked
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 325F and pour 1 cup of cider into the roasting pan with the ham.
  2. Cover with foil and bake 1 hour 30 minutes, basting once.
  3. Simmer the remaining cider, brown sugar, and cinnamon sticks, then whisk in the cornstarch to thicken.
  4. Brush the glaze over the ham.
  5. Bake uncovered 30 minutes until shiny and golden.
  6. Rest 15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

The cider in the pan keeps the ham extra moist.
