Almond-Crusted Shrimp

Baked until golden, plump shrimp are coated in seasoned almond flour.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 425F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Stir the almond flour with paprika, garlic powder, and salt in a shallow dish.
  3. Dip each shrimp in beaten egg, then press into the almond mixture to coat.
  4. Arrange on the sheet and bake 10 to 12 minutes until the shrimp are pink and the coating is golden.
  5. Serve right away with lemon wedges.

Notes

Pat the shrimp dry first so the coating sticks.
