2. Overnight Biscuits and Gravy Bake

If you have a toddler who wakes up at 5:30 AM, this is for you. You do all the work the night before and just pop it in the oven while you brew your coffee.
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 can 16 oz refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 lb ground breakfast sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet 2.75 oz sausage gravy mix, prepared according to package directions

Method

  1. Grease a 9x13 baking dish. Cut the biscuits into quarters and place them in the dish.
  2. Sprinkle the cooked sausage and shredded cheese over the biscuits.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Pour this mixture over the biscuits and sausage.
  4. Cover the dish tightly with foil and refrigerate overnight.
  5. In the morning, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake covered for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil, pour the prepared gravy over the top, and bake for another 15 minutes until the eggs are set.
