Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
- Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch round using your hands or a rolling pin.
- Spread about 1 teaspoon of marinara or pizza sauce in the center of each flattened biscuit.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Add a few mini pepperoni slices or your favorite pizza toppings.
- Fold the biscuit dough in half over the toppings to form a pocket, then pinch the edges to seal. You can use a fork to crimp the edges for an extra seal.
- Place the pizza pockets on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray the tops with non-stick cooking spray or olive oil spray.
- Sprinkle a little dried oregano and garlic powder on top for extra flavor.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the pizza pockets are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Allow the pizza pockets to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to customize the fillings with other toppings like diced ham, cooked sausage, or veggies. These pizza pockets are perfect for lunchboxes, snacks, or even a quick dinner!
