13) Sweet-teriyaki wings with pineapple and green onion

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb chicken wings tips removed and split
  • 1/2 cup store-bought teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 cup diced fresh pineapple or canned, drained
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions thinly sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Pat wings dry and toss with oil, garlic powder, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange wings in a single layer; cook 20–22 minutes, flipping halfway.
  3. Meanwhile, mix teriyaki sauce, honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar in a small saucepan; simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. In the last 3 minutes of air frying, brush wings with half the sauce and add pineapple chunks to warm.
  5. Toss wings with remaining sauce, sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds, then serve hot.
