10) BBQ dry-rub wings with brown sugar and smoked paprika

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb chicken wings split and patted dry
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar packed
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne optional, for a little heat
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Method
 

  1. Toss wings with olive oil in a large bowl until lightly coated.
  2. Mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, and cayenne.
  3. Sprinkle rub over wings and massage so each piece is coated.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange wings in a single layer, not crowded.
  5. Cook 10 minutes, flip, then cook another 8–10 minutes until crisp and internal temp reaches 165°F.
  6. Let rest 3 minutes before serving.
