1. Potato Chip Chocolate Drop Cookies

Sweet and salty perfection. The kids love crushing the potato chips for this one. It is a great way to use up the crumbs at the bottom of the snack bag.
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup crushed plain potato chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Stir in the flour and baking soda until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the crushed potato chips and chocolate chips.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes before moving to a wire rack.
